My mom and her husband went out of town for the week and asked her kids to watch the house. We have gladly obliged. It has been like a vacation for us. We have a thousands of square feet at our disposal and every day feels like a party. Too bad we don't have any friends we could invite over. We are our own friends.
Eli has been particularly happy about all the toys and the big bath. I have included a video of him in the swimming pool bathtub.
Eli is going to be two in May and is already demonstrating quite the vocabulary. He even picks up on expletives and his new favorite thing to say is "Oh Gosh". I don't know why he would like that better than any other words but apparently teaching your kid to say that and "fart" is frowned upon (I know, I have seen the frowns). I'll add that to the list of my grievances.
