By the way, we were on our way to the mall. Interestingly enough, no one seemed to notice (or comment on) the slightly odd child walking around the stores with a goose on his head (he left his beloved praying mantis glasses behind in the car because he didn't want anyone to think he was stealing them. I use this reasoning on him every time he wants to bring one of his toys in the store with him).
Perhaps they were distracted by his mother who wore disturbingly tight yoga pants (that have never been used for exercise) and a beer t-shirt (Red Stripe - I have class).
In this last picture, Eli wanted me to congratulate him for not looking away from the camera, even though it was very bright for his eyes. Yes, he looks very comfortable.
Our next stop was Sam's Club (of course). While I was standing at the customer service desk, in front of a line of people, Eli decided to start pinching and slapping my butt (see last blog for an explanation as to why he does this). I was busy signing my receipt and had difficulty stopping him. I made some kind of joke to the employee about getting "goosed by a goose," which I thought was quite funny. He didn't even smile.
In other news...
Here's one of Marina and her new pig-tails for good measure. By the way, that is not me standing behind her. That's her aunt in her customary two pairs of sweat pants. She believes in the double-bag trashiness.
