Note to others: When bouncing a paddle ball, always bounce away from the face.
I was at work yesterday when the battle took place. I received an email from Mark saying Eli probably just got his first black eye. He paddled the ball directly into his sensitive eye area then walked around with a very red eye last night.
Unbelievably, all the vitamins I give him must be paying off because this morning there is only some minor puffiness and light shadowing. So that first black eye will have to wait until the next ridiculous accident.

In other violent news, Eli has taught Marina to sword fight. So now I have two kids slicing off my limbs while making "Vrrring" sounds. I'm so proud.
